Lasting Flame Marriage Seminar

Need a spark of encouragement or refreshment in your marriage?  You are invited to attend the Lasting Flame Marriage Seminar on April 25-26, 2007.  Speakers Brent & Lori Lamb will focus on: Dangerous Expectations, Preferring One Another, Communication & Making your Marriage Fly.  Early registration of $100 per couple includes; seminar packet, snacks and lunch on Saturday.  See the brochure for more information and registration information.

**Mission / Service opportunity:

This Summer Monica Unzicker will be leading a team to Jamaica for two weeks in July.  Young adults/adults or families are needed in beautiful Jamaica to teach Bible School and participate in various work projects among the Mennonite churches.  The cost is approx. $1000.00 and includes everything except souvenirs.  Contact Monica Unzicker or Philip Rhodes at www.vmmissions.org/pim/ and click on the application.  You may call Monica at 330-317-9919 for more information.

Tim Miller is a member of the Mt. Vernon Nazarene Chorale.  They will be in concert Sat. April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wadsworth Church of the Nazarene.  If you have interest in attending the church is located at 743 High St. Wadsworth, Ohio.

-April 2:  7:00 p.m.  Congregational meeting for discussion & processing of our Conference Affiliation Exploration (CAE).  All are encouraged to attend.   Come at 5:45 for the meal.  (A written report will distributed on March 30 for everyone to review.)

-This Wednesday evening:  Meal at 5:45 Bible study and Congregation meeting at 7:00.  Childcare will be provided for the youngest children. 

Now– April 16: Wed. evening activities and meals.  April 9^th service night.  After the meal from 6:30 – 8:00, a group will go to the Salvation Army in Orrville.

April 6:  All church carry-in meal.  After the meal Shannon Wenger will share about mission work among the Buryat people in Siberia. There will be a children's presentation. Come & invite friends

April 10: Ladies, mark your calendar! We are having a baby shower (It's a girl!) for Laura Hofstetter at 6:30 PM. Pending her health.
