News & Announcements
*VMBM Missions - Tim and Tama Shoemaker, tranSend participants in Ireland, have left Belfast to serve in Limerick. They ask us to pray that the people in this town will be open to them as they get acquainted with youth and adults in the community.
*Mission Network Prayer Requests -Mennonite Mission Network workers Jeanette and Todd Hanson, China, request prayer that the Nanchong congregation will experience a renewal in its commitment to each other as a body and healing of relationships during the final phases of a long, difficult building project.
*Share your story: With 100 words or less write down a God moment story to be shared on Easter morning. God moments are times in our lives when we reflect back and recognize God has done something in our lives. Give your stories to Dan Miller, Missy Short or Carolyn Zuercher by March 25.
*Missions Bulletin Board: Pictures of persons serving with or in partnership with VMBM have recently been updated. Take a look as a reminder to pray for them.
*March 23-25 at Central Christian School. Fish Fry from 4:30-7:30 on Friday. Adult tickets are $7, children ages 6-12 are $4.50, children five and under eat free. At 7:00, the opening performance of The Robe. Tickets for the play are $5. Additional performances will take place Saturday night at 7:00 and Sunday afternoon at 3:00.
*Kingsway Annual Auction is on Sat. March 17th. Breakfast from 8-10am. Silent auction starts at 9 and live auction at 10.
*The sophomore girls at Central Christian are sponsoring a benefit pancake breakfast on Sat. March 17th. Pancakes will be served from 8-11am at Kidron Mennonite Fellowship Hall. Donations will be accepted at the door. All proceeds will be used to pay medical expenses for CC sophomore, Ali Clevidence.
*Men's Retreat at Camp Luz – March 23-25 The theme is Four Men for Men: Finding the heart of Faith. The speaker is Dr. Walter Kime, associate professor at Ashland Seminary. Brochures on table in hallway. Need to register by March 19th.
*Pastor Evaluations – please complete and return by March 11th. . TODAY! There are extra forms on the table in the hall.
*Tuesday, March 20th at 7:00pm – Spring Celebration at Kidron Mennonite. A special worship service will include music from local musicians, Anna (Dunn) Knutson and LeAnna Dunn, Jeff Polen, and John Schmid. Guest speaker Jerry Jenkins, co-author of the Left Behind series, will give a message entitled “Lessons from Stellar Lives.” Doors open at 6pm.
*Rosedale Chorale Tour (Tim Miller is a part of this group)
will be at Cornerstone Mennonite Church in Hartville on March 18th in the evening.
*Christian Peace Witness For Iraq: A rally for peace involving prayer and worship will be held on March 16 in Washington D.C. See brochure on bulletin board for detail about this bus trip.
