CRMW project (Feb.10-March 2)
The ladies are inviting anyone to participate in our Red Heart yarn project. We will collect 8 ounce skeins of 4-ply red heart yarn, any color or money to purchase yarn. Checks should be payable to Chestnut Ridge Church with a memo to CRMW yarn project. A basket for the yarn is in the foyer by the Pastor's office. Clients of the Stark County Regional Correction Center are taught to crochet, a skill that enables them to make things for others, a positive use of their time during court-ordered community service.
Lasting Flame Marriage Seminar
Need a spark of encouragement or refreshment in your marriage? You are invited to attend the Lasting Flame Marriage Seminar on April 25-26, 2007. Speakers Brent & Lori Lamb will focus on: Dangerous Expectations, Preferring One Another, Communication & Making your Marriage Fly. You are invited to a worship event featuring spiritual music from many cultures on Friday, Feb. 22,at Kidron Mennonite Church 7:00 p.m.. This evening you will experience the Goshen College Women's World Music as they highlight the role of women in many cultures, celebrating the unique spirit, faith and energy that women bring to the world. During the program, the women share stories of God's wisdom, sing barefoot and wear fabrics from around the world to affirm their connection to God's creation and their solidarity with women from all cultures. Come experience the power, energy and faith of this 50 voice women's choir.
